It's childish whimperings/vain arguments like Omicron's that have made me generally disinterested with the Myth community. A few points: 1) Magma takes care of the Myth game. Marius takes care of the online stuff. The whole 'admin posing' chaos should stay in that neck of the woods. 2) Isn't this wh...

This is almost definately impossible, but what if the direction of the light source on a mesh could change over time. Basically creating a day night cycle. Shadows get longer as time passes and eventually cover the whole mesh simulating night, then eventually light reappeares on the opposite side o...

You could try Flight from Covenant from the TFL campaign (rip them from The Fallen Levels?). Lots of ruined towers/walls. If you want them darker/different textures it might be a bit of a pain though (dup files, change tag ID to something unique, point GEOMs to new CORE, make new textures with Amber).

http://www.csun.edu/~mgs73368/ Some programs made by Killswitch which I thought might interest someone. Dunno where Kill went. The links on that page are all bad. They linked to Play Myth and we all know what happened with that. A better link with a few more goodies (I think this folder has all the...

Have you checked the box marked "Use this Hue Change"? Without that on, the bitmaps you see won't change colors.

oh I refererred to the ones you call smacker files are they easily created? how can you do it? Easily created? Yes...mostly. Use the Smacker Tools from RAD Game Tools to convert a movie to the SMK format. (If for some reason you want to play them with TFL, I think you need to add a 64 byte Myth hea...

Wait a sec - Is this an exe file? Could it be compressed? Needs unzipped or something?

Not that this is much help, but according to Blizzard, OpenGL is out for D2 on ICBMs (intel chip based macs).

I think that may be the best way to go. The overhead map is not used so the player should not notice the "jumping" of location.

It's not that I don't want stains. I do want the ground riddled with burn marks and blood. I just need the mesh reset to original colors at a certain time.

Fury, that sounds like a possibility. Hmm...

Must try trial and error.
