my ranch in no cal.. is solar so not much mything could go on there but hunting wild boar is an option. Point, are you suggesting we have a real live "Long Awaited Drinking Party" level? Maybe strap some Tannerite to the little piggies and see what happens? [Uncle Jimbo] "They're com...

Whoa, Carlinho! You're like just down the street. The "street" meaning the 405. And being it's LA, just "down the street" is like a 2 hour drive. :)

I'm going off of memory here, but yes, the interface is just a bunch of collections. You can edit them with Amber. A lot of the graphics start with "internal". For example, there's "Internal Main Menu 640x480" - I'll give you one guess as to what this is. :) Take a look at Jinn ...

This makes me curious as to how many projects are put on hold due to school. I, myself, have one or two projects. They, too, have been put on the back burner until school is done. I suspect that during the summer, we'll have a slew of releases.

Mr. Wallet has the right idea. If you want just the music, go after the soundtrack. Wait a tick...what's this?

If you want to extract sounds, use SoundBlighter (yes, it's available for both Mac and Windows).

So wait, this allows you to edit unit animations and such? Or is this for editing terrain? This exports the picture data from texture stacks. Texture stacks are image files for Myth 3. They are similar to collections (.256 files) in Myth TFL & SB. Terrains use texture stacks for showing differe...

Yes everyone, it's another Fun & Mostly Uselessâ„¢ app. Patchwork will extract the JPG files out of Myth 3 texture stacks. (To extract the texture stacks from the monolithic tag files, use UnTag .) Additionally, it will recompile the sliced up mesh images back into one huge JPG for your viewing...

But Myth tools only have a history of such names because that's what Vista chose to use for their tools :P Myth tools themselves have a history of using names of negative emotion/desire; Fear, Loathing, Vengeance :) iirc there was a 3rd party tool (may have been VIsta as well) called Spite and Mali...

nothing will help you get through DM's grass tutorial, just accept the fact that you aren't 1337 enough and move on. OK, I admit no one comes close to DM's mad PS skillz. Let me try this again. ah hem... Hey everyone! Here's some textures if you are doing a model of a stone wall or something! There...

I was going through some old CDs and found one called Stone CAD. It's an app designed by a company called Cultured Stone for selling their products: prefab stone for housing exteriors. The CD is chock full of pretty nice stone textures - high res, seamless tiling. Best of all, IIRC the CD was free ...

Apple has a CodeWarrior to Xcode transition article on the ADC site, but I didn't see anything about PowerPlant. Stupid PowerPlant... As far as I know, the CodeWarrior to Xcode converter is just a simple AppleScript app. It opens the old project in CodeWarrior, exports an XML file (or something sim...

If I remember right, the reason why the TFL cutscenes don't play in Smacker player is because they have a Myth header before the actual Smacker data. Basically, there are 64 bytes at the beginning of the file that the Smacker player can't decipher. To fix it, open up the extracted files in a hex ed...
