Re: dwarf air-strike
RotD is the only map that has the dwarven airship with dwarfs chucking sats out the sides though. Ghost made a custom version of the airship (forget what plug it's originally from) that has the animating dwarfs using the pickup/drop seq to throw the sats over the edges. Pretty sure it's exclusive to...

Re: Map Crashes to Main Menu
An overhead error won't crash the map. I'm suspecting the collection tag listed is the colourmap itself. Some sort of mesh mismatch or something pointing to an old version of the cmap perhaps.

Re: Myth2 Linux crashes when loading cutscenes
Myrd will probably be able to help you better, but out of curiosity do the .movs play alright by themselves in your media player? If so, it would rule out that it's a problem with the files, and would also give you an interim solution to watching cutscenes before the level starts.

Re: Hello everyone
I'm certain a bit of googling including the word 'torrent' will help you find the drones you are looking for.

Re: Project Magma on iPad
Presumably formats and methods would change, but I reckon I've got the skills to create some maps when and if it ever gets to that point.

Re: Video
Absolutely valid points Ooga. I think in general, protests are FAR less likely to come to violent fruition if there's some sort of figurehead leading the demonstration who has a good grasp on the issues at hand and no intention of a violent demonstration. I said before that "people" are st...

Re: Are all Myth plugins available on the Tain?
Yea to be honest, I don't see the advantage of sending yourself an email to the plug from your smartphone. If this app ran on your computer it might be a handy feature, but at present I feel it's just adding redundant steps to acquiring the plugin you're after. Like Myrd said - 1 word searches on th...

Re: Video
Quit making the statement 'staying once asked to leave' cause really that's BS, and a moot point. If you see shit going down at all, leave. Asked or not. Just leave. Common fucking sense in my mind. Something I learned working in retail though, is that on the whole... "people" are stupid. ...

Re: MYTH total war at TWC forums
This came up in discussion earlier on Udogs HL..... These models you're making, are you viewing them and editing them in a model app? Is this app able to display the animations and render them off frame by frame? We were saying it'd be really cool to create a Unit Conversion for Myth that does what ...

Re: Post your MYTH screenshot of the day...
Reckon that'd be better achieved with a large 'decal' style dtex... You'd be hard pressed to get a collection sprite stain big enough (there's a max dimension, relatively small) to look realistic compared to the size of those bombs.

Take a look at a map that does it for an example. It uses scripting.

Re: MYTH total war at TWC forums
But within those different factions, can't you still have slightly different tints on them? Similiar to how the warriors have all sorts of different facial hair and hair colour? It'll look better if you can.

Fair enough. That post should go up on the historical board or something, as a need-to-know for all forum users interacting with you, could sort a lot of seemingly pointless discussion before it even starts ![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)

Re: Project Magma on iPad
You're arguing semantics VR. Ok. The whole UI portion of the game would have to be re-written. Last time I checked, UI was pretty much prevalent in all aspects of the game. Every menu, and a whole friggin' stack of buttons and key commands in game. That's re-writing a damn good portion of the whole ...
