Re: Project Magma on iPad
The whole _point_ of an iPad version though, would be to expand the game of Myth to a new audience, a new group of players. If you restrict it to existing serial numbers attached to CDs... it still means there's only as many players as there are say on Mnet right now... that is, people with Myth CDs...

Re: Project Magma on iPad
The serial numbers were specifically for Bungie.net online play. Bungie.net has been down for over 7? 8? years now...... I know for sure that I lost my CD B.net serial a LONG LONG time ago. I'd imagine that only bungie had a list of legit serial codes and verified them on their website when someone ...

Re: Myth Crash in 1.7.2 in windows
Some things unexplained so far: Does this crash occur right on load, or some minutes into the match? Is it a myth crash or a hard crash (back to menu or back to desktop)?

Re: Respawning Waves
Append works like you think it does, it just won't work for certain containers like wayp. So for example, you could append subj or obje monster identifiers to a attackers or targets param. Insert would be adding a param that the original action didn't have listed, say like adding in the special abil...

Re: Making Code Graceful...
Ack no, you're absolutely correct. This is my downfall of trying to read script in text format on a forum while at work with no way to verify the BS I speculate over then type Which means, as A-Red stated, you've probably already found the most efficient method.

Re: Making Code Graceful...
I'm just wondering if there's any way to remove the second string of tests for Dark Victory..... you've already done the tests. Can't you just have a dark victory flag activated initially (or say a minute in or as soon as light caps their first flag, im not sure if light starts on a flag or not?) wi...

Re: Making Code Graceful...
I mentioned this in the other thread. The limit is not tied solely to number of map actions, and in fact the Map Actions limit is not the one you should be keeping an eye on, you'll be _very_ hard pressed to ever reach it before running into problems. The real limit that will halt your map is the Ma...

Re: Respawning Waves
Something I haven't suggested you try yet is to create an arrangement of containers of waypoints... say 4 or 5? Then each time your PLAT dies, MUNG in new waypoints to the PLMO and restart it? If it only regards the _most recent set of waypoints_ you should be able to randomize of those 5 sets of wa...

Re: Respawning Waves
Check Edit 3. Are you _sure?_ you're Munging the starting script and not the platoon itself? I've made dumb mistakes like this a hundred times before. Check, double check, then triple check. Nevermind, it seems you are, just noted the capslock difference between the names. I think your suspicion is ...

Re: Respawning Waves
Uh.... Second* action. Munger. You delete the action you try to activate later. Since you've deleted it, the trigger is now linking to nothing, and you get the NULL error in your debug log. I don't think you need to be MUNGing anything in this scenario. If you're using respawns via script, just leav...

The shades are blowing my mind dude. Re-envisioned better than I could've imagined them, that's for sure! I don't have an account over at the TW Forums, but saw your post: Yes. They'll be playing the role of the leaders until the Fallen lords arrive. I don't know yet how to balance their power, caus...

Re: Respawning Waves
Simply select the monsters in question and Edit Marker> tick Respawns, and also tick Respawns via Script. (A side note, if you have units flagged for difficulty, band selecting them all monsters will re-set all to timid, so if this is the case, avoid it by selecting your units in bands of difficulty...

Re: loathing debug exe
You're trying to run it in the M3 folder. No wonder if can't find the foundation tags :P If you're trying to use loathing on M3 maps you're only going to have so much luck... that is to say, very little. If my memory serves me correctly, all M3 maps start their life in M2 Loathing, getting basic mes...
