You can also legally download the demo and update the demo with the 1.8.3 updater... this will allow you to try out many 3rd party maps and campaigns.

Godz I think it is fine having items need to be approved just maybe need a couple more people with the power to do it.

Pending items... I was updating files though that didnt seem to take.. so I uploaded new. it might help if the update also could just reference a files web address like the new item instead of it only allowing an upload.

I don't think that was a bug... I'm pretty sure oz like others myself included used custom terrains ... since not much snow in vietnam he probably used it for other purpsoses... I know he used some terrain for expressway movements and possibly some scripted stuff.

Did something change on GOS lately several regular hosts are now unjoinable. I would guess maybe it was their internet provider change but if it was GOS let everyone know it would be nice if someone nudged the blue bar to give some info.
