Not done by an explosion, but the Journeyman Engineer unit (I think that's the name) alters the height of a mesh point via his special ability.

You guys are probably already aware of this since it appears to have been written by someone on the project team (Alex) - but the online gaming magazine/site "Gamasutra" just published an article about Magma's 1.5 and 1.5.1 updates to Myth 2.

ChrisP, I think I found my problem - or at least a workaround. Poking around some more I found that if I use Amber to replace the "sequence" bitmap (looks like the regular plugin icon bitmap with a small border of unused color around it) not just the the regular bitmap(s) the plugin icon ...

I am having a problem getting plugin icons (the plugin equivalent of pregame pictures) to appear in the plugin icon window when a plugin is selected. I can apparently load the images fine in Fear (240color(i think) PICT or BMP, I've tried both) - at least Fear doesn't crash or tell me anything went...

What would be really useful is if PlayMyth/Marius kept track of which plugins were played and post the info on the net - that way one could just take a look at the page displaying the top 20 non-bungie FFA maps played in the last month or so to get an idea for what plugins are currently most popula...

I am a little (lot) belated ChrisP, but thanks for the suggestions - I checked and I was indeed hitting the cursed duplicate ID tag situation you mentioned. Having it pop up for the first time right around a nice even number threw my debugging thinking off.

Hey, I resent the comment that no one will ever play Jinn again unless it's updated to 1.5. I've been playing it with an old install of 1.3 for the past couple of weeks thank you very much. That said, having a 1.5 version would eliminate the need for one of my many myth installs. Let's see, with Ji...

Hey Gleep, There are a couple of basic tutorials on unit-making at the Myth Graveyard . Of particular interest to you would probably be either Khrome's Myth 3 Unit Making Tutorial or for Myth 2 Rohan's Unit Primer and in the downloads section there are a couple of tutorials, Importing Units into My...

Thanks for the tip - I ended up giving up on Myth II 1.4, and (re)imported everything into a new map running under Myth II 1.5 (beta) and now it inexplicably works ok.

Someone please help! I am working on a map using Myth II 1.3.2(I think the .2 is right). It works fine and is playable in game, blah blah etc. It works fine when I run it from the local folder, AND when I turn it into a plugin (and clean out the local folder). Problem: When I try to play it using M...
