Your plug is approved now.
The linking system works based on the checksum in the plugin file, so as long as the file is identical to the one you uploaded, it doesn't matter where it came from. So no you don't need to download your own map again to host it.

Re: Delayed release
dude I think you need to recalibrate your expectations for how this works. this is a fan site for a 20 year old game. no one is getting paid to do 24/7 support for the site.

Re: Delayed release
The tain approval process depends on an admin manually logging into the site and clicking a button. It does not work on any kind of precise schedule.

Re: Who owns the rights?
As I said I'm not even sure if that was the reason why the negotiations broke down. Now that I think about it, I probably didn't forget, but most likely wasn't told because all the details of their negotiations would have been confidential. There was no formal agreement between us and Nightdive, tha...

Re: Who owns the rights?
The last we heard was they are owned by Take 2. At some point we (magma) were in talks with Nightdive studios to bring the game back to market. This was like 5 years ago or something. They were going to negotiate the rights with T2 and we would do the development to upgrade the graphics and bring th...

Item should be approved now.
I haven't heard anything about 7z working, but you could test it with a small plugin and see if it gives you an error message.

Very cool, that seems like a comprehensive guide. What do you think about submitting it to the tain archive? You can submit directly here: http://tain.totalcodex.net/items/new

Re: About Green Berets
Sorry I don't know the answer to the questions in your original post, hopefully someone else will. I've found the guide in one of my old HDs! It was an online guide (no longer available) that I converted to Word back in the day. I have the file in case someone is interested. If you can put the guide...

Dynamic Shadows Videos
I was cleaning up an old hard drive and I found these two videos on there from 2014. Thought I'd throw them up on Vimeo for posterity.

Even if Godz is abrasive he is correct here. The 1º Level video seems to be even less than 1 frame per second. It's a slide show

I don't have experience, but here's something you can try: I think your files are probably in MacBinary format. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacBinary You could try using MacBinConv to see if you can extract the data fork. https://sourceforge.net/projects/macbinconv/ Usage: usage: macbinconv.exe <i...
