We have the technology...

Check this out: I found a PowerPC emulator called SheepShaver , which is capable of running OS9. It took me a while to get it working, but I finally got it. Here's a screen of Amber running under OS9, running under SheepShaver, running under XP :D http://www.projectmagma.net/~melekor/SheepShaver_Amb...

Very nice. I've always thought a LOTR plugin would be cool, and it looks like you're off to a good start.

Might I suggest the TFL forest giant collection for the Ents instead of the Chimera one?

If you're a windows machine you can play back or convert the SMK files with the RAD Video Tools
EDIT: it's not very visible but that's a clickable link

Thanks guys. So far we have: -Does the registration point also determine where ground level is? YES -Do either of these points do anything else interesting? NO questions remaining: (and at this point, these are just for my personal interest, I already know enough to code the editor now) -Does the ke...

Sequences - registration & key points

I'm currently working on the animation editor for Oak and I've come across these two things: the registration and key points. I'm not really sure exactly how they work, I'm hoping someone here will be able to help me out. I've been able to figure out that the registration point is used to align all ...

Improved security is good, but these new colors are just ... yuck.

Any chance of getting the old colorscheme back?

I have had this same problem on every pc I ever played myth on. I think it has to do with the device being lost and the font texture not being reuploaded to the card. I've found that typing characters [into the chat] that haven't been displayed before in that game causes myth to rengenerate the tex...

Hey Point, Sorry I missed your question the first time around. Oak will not impose a limit on the number of sequences a collection may have. I think that the limit of 100 is probably an Amber thing. The collection fileformat itself doesn't have any such restrictions, and 100 seems like an unlikely ...

Time for a reality check william. Grim is completely correct, stuffit(At least the windows version) is a total piece of crap. I second the vote for a zip version. Please save us the pain and suffering.

His AIM is "wodasini syn", without the quotes of course. According to my logs he was last online 23 hours ago so I think your chances of catching him before he disappears forever are fairly good ;)

I'm sorry (and also very surprised) to hear that the new input code isn't performing properly on your machine. Unfortunately there were some issues with the DirectInput code in windowed mode and since I'm not familiar with DirectInput I thought it would be easiest to convert the whole system to the...

That list box displays the bitmap names as they are in the collection file. Those numbers you are seeing were part of the bungie naming convention for the bitmaps. (possibly auto-named by the Extractor, bungie's collection tool?) If you look closely, you can see that the 2 numbers in the parenthesi...

I'm sure we'll be able to create a native version for whatever new platform they come out with, as long as it comes with a C compiler :-) Making a native version shouldn't be more complicated than recompiling the code.
