Myth II on Windows XP- widout Service Pack 3

I wanna install Myth II Soulblighter on my
Win XP computer, but in the end of the installation
it means i need the servece pack 3...

How can I play Myth 2 widout the Service Pack?
(I cant get it)
Is there another possibility?

Hi there, this is an old one - but easily fixed!

1. Run the installer.
2. Wait for the window to come up that says 'YOU CAN'T RUN THIS WITHOUT SERVICE PACK... blah blah'.
3. Do not click any buttons in this window. Ignore it and go onto step 4...
4. Control-alt-delete. A thing will come up. End task the installer.

Myth 2 will remain installed, and you should be able to play it, trouble free.
That's how I did it anyway

Someone on the PMnet forums also suggested changing the compatibility of the setup.exe file to Windows 98 (right click -> Properties -> Compatibility). That might involve a little less h4x0ring :p
