I voted first... therefore Pyro = Great. :P It depends on the level and the players... I picked hero solo mission with many enemies. But in the right group of people I am willing to play other things.

big battles. either big or small armies against vast hordes with several avenues through which to approach the problem (e.g. flight from covenant) or sieges (e.g. shadow of the mountain).

a not too far distant second would be commando missions such as five champions - lots of enemies and a handful of units with various abilities.

Some of my all time favorite levels. Gonens. Wall, Library. Get 4 or 5 guys. Give them all a few units of the same type. And kill some mindless zombies.

I (on my own with no one else to agree with me) voted for one hero who seeks allies. These kind of maps are great because unlocking new powers or getting an army bigger is fun! An example of this is Senex Silvae.

wow I never thought that option #2 would be the favorite.
cool to know though, so I can plan different alternatives of maps that have all those most voted options.
Although i hate option #2, somehow I find it boring to have a 1 man army win the war.
but definitely yes for option #4 , #5 and why not maybe a #3.

I've voted for 4. I've got no special reason, but the levels I remeber to be the funniest were that way. (Baaad english! Sorry)
In my thoughts and in my dreams
They're always in my mind
These songs of hobbits, dwarves and men
And elves
Come close your eyes
You can see them too

I'd opt for a variation of #1 (small forces against different enemies/different situations) or a variation of #5 : e.g. big battles, small force w/ different specials & weapons against a LOT of (but NOT ENDLESS) enemies.

I'd rather play "The Wall" or "The Great Library" two or three times in a row with different unit plugins than play a level that is going to take 45 minutes or more to play with endless enemies. I like different waves, and lots of enemies, but not endless.

Of course it could just be my ADD.

Hmm...

This may influence my next hack-away at a Myth coop.
