changing myth music and artwork - how to?

how do you change the myth main menu artwork and music?
also how do you change the desing it has on the status bar, etc?
is it through amber?
which collections and where should be replaced?

I'm going off of memory here, but yes, the interface is just a bunch of collections. You can edit them with Amber. A lot of the graphics start with "internal". For example, there's "Internal Main Menu 640x480" - I'll give you one guess as to what this is.

Take a look at Jinn by Vista Mapmakers. It has a whole custom interface, intro music, etc. Probably exactly what you're trying to do.

same for music, in the sound tags are Main menu music 1,2,3,4

The plug-in file you're interested in is Patch 1.4 Interface, make sure you change everything in that or it won't work for everyone.
