Well, my Myth TFL 1.5 runs fine, but my Myth log doesn't have any kind of error like yours ( the errors lines).

About the formation thing, I don't understand what you mean. When I play, I define the facing of my units by simple moving the mouse to the desired directions as soon as a left-click on the ground when issuing a moving order.

Hope this helps you a bit.

Mine lacks the errors as well. So it smells like you've got some other gremlins breeding in there.

The only other thing I can think of is your mouse settings...is your mouse by chance set to have any "non standard" settings that might confuse myth (left click isnt really left click, that sort of thing)?

Do you have .exe's and/or dlls in plugins folders or tags folder or somewhere where they're not supposed to be? Your mythlog seems to suggest that Myth is trying to parse these as tag files, but it would only be doing that if these are located in one of the folders where it looks.

If you think it's tiny on 1280x1024, you haven't tried it on 1680x1050!
That's the resolution on my 20 inch iMac.

I do drag the mouse, that dosn't work.

Also, all the tag errors, I don't know whats up with that. I don't have any plugins or anything really.

But the game graphics seems to function fine. It just won't let me form units. Also the game itself runs a little choppy.

I'm not like you mac users where TFL 1.5 seems to work problem free without flaw on first try. The only people who have problems with version 1.5 are PC users.

I tried toggling with the mouse settings a million differnt ways, it never works.

From the reports I've heard, it seems to be Windows XP users....

I'm a PC user on a Windows XP. Never had any kind of problems, except the camera jerkiness one (it's a frame rate issue actually). But this happens in Myth 2 too and seems to be more of a engine problem or whatever. It's fixed easily by leaving windows media open in the background.

Anyway, i recommend that you uninstall Myth TFL completely, do a fresh install and patch to 1.5 directly (no 1.3 and 1.4 patches). Also make sure you do the install in a fresh folder.

If this doesn't work, I'm clueless. The only thing i can say it that if your myth log show errors, something's not right.

I've done that like 6 million times, dosn't seem to work.

1. Select units
2. hold down alt (or option depending on your computer...)
3. drag the mouse around to change direction

As said above you can also do this after selecting a formation too...

That dosnt' work at all.

I found out that I have to use the windows key to face my units
But the windows key activates the start menu.

Myth TFL 1.5 still isn't very good.

Is next patch for TFL in future plans ?
It would be nice to have m2 style capslock highlight, shift+F7, autohost and full screen lobby.

I doubt that there will be more TFL patches, especially considering that ProjectMagma already said that their focus is Myth 2.

About full screen lobby, it would only be possible if the ingame resolution was 640*480, like it was in previous versions before 1.5.
You could always change your desktop resolution to 640*480, but nobody does that.
