Tomorrow is the big day!

Post by Soulblaster »

As some of you know, tomorrow is the very expected day when Blade will re-open Playmyth Website. I am up with this post mostly to send a very good luck of same size, and express my best wishes to the Myth host. I hope the new face will look over our community as first priority and deliver a premiun service to the same well deserved community, for all these years arching and bottling its way among many other actualized games out there. Confucio said once: no matter how many more new board games they come up with, chess will always master them all...so is Myth!

I don't think PMnet site will be up on the 1st like it originally said because of what it says now... "this weekend".

I don't care what he installs on his computer. The game server is already functioning just fine for M2, so unless he is installing a new version of the server itself I am not sure how which version of myth he installs on his personal computer is even relevant.

Actually I believe they are working on a big update to the bnet server itself.

I kind of doubt you will notice any difference as an end user given what little i know of the update.

um ... yeah. The server either works or it doesn't. From an end user's point of view, if they do a good job of the rework then you might find its performance is less sluggish. If you're _really_ lucky you might even find new features, like a display of the amount of time co-op games have been running ala mnet.

Otoh if they do a bad job of it, the rework could introduce a pile of new bugs and exploits for bad ppl to crash their server. Its a dangerous thing rewriting old, time-proven software unless you really know what you're doing & you're very very careful.

About Blades not having Myth II installed...half the guys who code Myth for Project Magma don't spend much time playing it for fun either really, no time.

*Thinks about it*

Let's play refute the points with Elfoid because he is silly:

1) Myrd plays all the time stfu

2) Refusing to install and not playing are very different. He basically made an active step to not participate in m2. Makes me a little shaky.

3) Shut up elf
