Interesting idea, there are a lot of rules so it's hard to know exactly what is allowed, but I'm sure I could come up with something interesting heh. Hopefully this can get me back into mapmaking so I can finish some things.

Btw one of the 1.7 mapmaking features will be the ability to promote projectiles into new units. Imagine ... morts that, when they die, their bodies just get back up again. Even better, if they're blown up then the arms, legs, heads etc all turn into a new mort
Oh man... "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" plugin - No need for a Deathmatch as teams of straw brooms attack each other with axes and buckets of water, splitting into more brooms as they get hacked up. Winner sweeps the most Mickey Mouses into designated pits.
