Dear Project Magma Team,
First off, thank you for existing.
I've recently been having some very awful lag in my games that I suspect is not an issue of my connection. About 5-6 minutes into every game, my computer starts bugging out. If the announcer guy on myth (the guy who says 1 minute remaining, etc) has something to say, and he says it during one of my bugout sessions, it will sound like this:
"one min-min-min-min-min-min...........remaining."
My entire computer ceases to function, I can't alt tab and I can hardly do anything on myth other than type "yaiohlagsgkl frozen."
I run on an intel macbook 2ghz 2gb memory. Myth has always worked wonderfully on this computer, and I never had this problem in 1.6.
I always use wireless and once again, never had this problem till 1.7. Though I'm not sure if its 1.7 cause its a recent problem and I've had 1.7 for a while.
One thing I noticed is that this happened when a friend told me he alt tabbed (he was host). But its happened in virtually every host, not sure if its an alt tab issue.
I hope I've described enough of the symptoms to give you guys an idea as to what is going on. This is not your standard choppy or delay lag, its like debilitating I want to kill myself computer malfunction lag.
1.7 issue? wireless issue? please assist!
Re: 1.7 issue? wireless issue? please assist!
Do you have any other things run in the background that could be affecting it?
Have you ran Disk Utility to verify that your disk is OK?

This seems very similar to a bug report I recall reading recently that I think came in from a MWC player or something? Maybe it was ducky even. I can't remember but I've seen this bug described before, also on a Mac OS.
Oddly there's many other "Private Testers" running nearly identical if not identical hardware/operating system without any such issues ever being reported. Might be a tricky one

Not a disk issue, nothing running in the background. Going to start plugging into an ethernet cable to see if that works.

Can you try playing single player and confirm that it doesn't happen then?
