on the rusian front

"Dogs fighting against tanks
In 1941-1942 because of high deficiency of anti-tank means the Soviet army had been used for fighting against the German tanks more than 60 thousands dogs trained in accordance with the special program and equipped with fixed on back tarpaulin bag carrying 2-4 kgs of explosives with antenna type exploder. It was enough for antenna to touch a metal for explode. Dogs were trained to run rapidly under a tank from short distance, so it quickly came into the dead zone of tank’s machine gun. Machine gunner had not enough time to point and fire such small and quick target. The first battalion of dogs fighting against tanks was sent to front in July of 1941. During the war those dogs destroyed more than 300 fascist tanks. Just during the battle of Stalingrad special troops of the 62nd army under the command of major Kunin and senior lieutenant Shantsev hit and burnt the whole enemy\'s tank brigade – 63 tanks and 2 armoured cars. As far as army was supplied with anti-tank artillery necessity in dogs fighting against tanks was reducing, and in October of 1943 such troops were disband. Remained dogs were redirected for mine searching tasks."""

it might be ready for a second round of testing soon (couple of weeks)

uif you just need someone to fill up a starting-position slot sure, but the high res units bring my computer to a screeching halt so I can't really do much in testing them - at least not in multiplayer mode.

Hey,
I'm definitely looking forward to this new plug, and I would be a committed beta tester if necessary.
Cheers,
bigbro

PS. are you also still working on the Greek plug ?

I'm willing, I have more free time during the week than I do on the weekends at the moment, which can make it hard to get into test games.

awesome

jon & big bro confirmed, I might need some time to implement the feedback you gave me yesterday jon , as I don't have those models and would need to work them from scratch.
but anybody else interested let me know

cheers!

well, definitely:

1944-Carentan
1944-Normandy

then
1944-At All Costs (Saving Pvt. Ryan)

haven't seen it, shoot it over!!!

and :
1944-Fuel Depot
has not been very well treated in the critics on the tain, so not sure I want to include it.

1944-Willow Creek
nah...that map sucks

as for units:

Tags:
US-soldier
-Garand
-Thompson
-30 calibur mg.
-Flamethrower
-Bazooka

definitely these above

US-tank
US-Howitzer

haven't seen this, so far I have the russian tank only

German-Wiermacht
-KAR98
-Mp40
-MG42 (mg34)
-Flammenwerfer
-panzerfuast
German-Panzer
German-Hpak

all this yes
+ a medic I need to do
+ a explosive specialist I need to do

medic I have for us... though never got to modeling and rendering the german version... Have a doctor for allies and nurse for germans in low res...

hpak and 88 I have for germans... (with gun crews) I have the US howitzer wwii though havent added the gun crew... though thats easy enough since i have the poses...

tanks... Fireflys is good to go...need to replace the pieces and chunks from the old dying sherman then its battle ready... and I'm just about there with the tiger I still need to seperate out the track parts so i can animate them..

Shaving pvt ryan... I added models... still need to adjust color map to meet the models other than that and maybe added some more specific models its looks promising... I have been testing Warfare on pointe du hoc... so far so good.. Though really missing the bunkers... :) I can reconfigure them in meshworks if someone can import them that would be golden..... I also have a bridge model for Saving pvt ryan... though not texture pinned yet...

i actually played some myth online yesterday in a cwr fest.... so im a behind on getting the things i wanted to upload ready... by the weekend should be good to go...
