Re: (OVER HEAD MAPS) how????
1. Download Vista Cartel "Jade"
2. Jade - simple programm for creating pre-game and overhead maps files. Open "Jade".
Picture #1 WinJade Open
3. Remember, pre-game bitmap have 377x190 resolution. If You have another resolution - Jade said about that. Select bitmap what You want to compress (bitmap must be 8-bit). Click "pre-game" Type button. Write Name: "File name". And write Tag. I prefer write first words letters (only 4 for Tag, Siege of Belmont Map - SoBM).
Picture #2 Pre-game creation
4. Write again Your file name and save.
Picture #3 Save file
5. Now You Must put Your created file in the: Myth2/local/collections. You can open Your file in the Oak, and explore him. Now open "Fear"/meshes (select mesh)/ pre-game - Gimble Belmont Test Bamboo.
Picture #4 Select pre-game file
6. Your Pre-game - ready !
Picture #5 Pre-game in game
--------------------------------------
Overhead map - like color map, but smaller version
1. The same principle is that of pre-game, the same steps.
Overhead map may have resolution like (154x154; 128x179,149x128 and smlt)
Recomended not use very dark overhead map. Jade may compress overhead map, but cannot create "ideal" color table for Oak, remember - not very dark!

You could also use Oak, take an existing overhead map collection, duplicate it, change the name, and import the new bitmap over the old one, which will switch the color table. After that, you can delete unused bitmaps.

Re: (OVER HEAD MAPS) how????
One of the advantages of having a Mac: Overheads and pregames are just so simple. All you need is SheepShaver (or similar) running OS9, and an old copy of Jade.
Start-to-finish in about one minute, from colour map or screenshot conversion to the output of the files from Jade.
Perhaps there's a PC emulator solution for running Mac OS9?

The Myth Graveyard has never had any applications to download, any download links (try) to point to other sites where you can download stuff.BambooStew22 wrote:It says there's a problem with the link at "Myth Graveyard" I can not seem to download "JADE"...
But if you are talking about pages @ the graveyard being broken, the graveyard is as dead as most of the content it archives.
