RECON_TEST - trying to see if this helps swamp lag

Here is a link to a recon with reflections shut off...use it with 1.5.1 to see if you get less lag in the swamp area...THANKS

OK....

here is beta 2 of the "no reflection on" recon

this should have no conflicting tags with the original recon plug...and should play the same but feel smoother in the swamp area. CLICK ON LINK BELOW

the one problem with shutting reflections off is you no longer see splashes...hmmmm why is that anyway?

Actually if you lag in the swamps, just use OpenGL instead of Direct3d. It has cleared the lag up for everyone I've worked with.

I heard that OpenGL will bluescreen people using radeoncards sometime last night

I have a Radeon card and it doesn't blue screen me. However, I'm one of the people who get better FPS with D3D.
