hahahaha
well it's my lucky day, cause all the help is really appreciated
I received a pm from Death before reading your post Oro, sorry
but I really like you being part of it, being you an ancient greek history lover as me.

let me suggest the following:

pompey will help with string lists

Death's will do the technical part of the interfaces, as he knows really well how to do so.
He's going to be available from end of june onwards.

Soo.....
Oro, as a greek historian, you could investigate/design sketches and supervise the work of both Pompey and Death's

Both research texts that are history accurate for the strings, and designs that could be used for the interfaces

let me know if it works, would love to have all you 3 guys working together

thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly, it's not luck. You presented some high quality work, of which the back has been broken. It just needs to be finished. You asked for help. No brainer, really :)

Secondly, DA always comes first. That's what his ex says

Can do, if Pompey is OK with that, we'll run the project Old Skule Magma style with some twists. Pompey, Carl, pm me your Skype addresses AND grab yourself a Ventrilo account on Wazza's server (set up instructions here). Ventrilo is a low bandwidth VoIP client used by WoW and Myth gamers to talk while playing.

If you don't have either, get both :) We'll need a 'get on the same page' conference call, so we can get Carlinho's vision for his campaign faithfully realized.

I'm very happy to be supervised, I fully recognize I'm the untested guy on the team here :)

I do have a Ventrilo account, back when Mazz 6 was released I played a handful of games with CP et al, so they initiated me onto Wazza's WoW server. I'll have to see if the auto-login info is still current.... Aw crap I just checked and I'd uninstalled Vent at some point *mutter*

Skype is set up as well, will PM.

Bollocks to that. We're all evenly unqualified. You volunteered and you show commitment. The 'C' word overrides any skill you may or may not have, tested or no.

Oro, Pompey get your butts over to the Onyx Warlord forums and register so you can have access to Carl's Greek project forum (seeing as DA is registered over there he is the first of you three to get access).

Hey Horus,

I'll take the recommendation under advisement :) I think the work Pompey, DA and I are volunteering for doesn't require too much forum-monkeying, fortunately. Cheers!

Doesn't require much forum monkeying eh?

Edit: This isn't a forum just added, this is a forum he's been using for quite awhile, and seems to be pretty important to his project (well from what I can tell at least going by the amount of topics).

As I say, what Pompey, DA and I are volunteering for won't really need a forum of this nature. Most of the submissions in the Onyx forums are about the mechanics of game building - Important, first-tier stuff, no question.

Our involvement is more second-tier: cosmetic, less critical, but contributes to the 'Wow!' factor :)

I'm registered now, but I feel like I'm leaning toward Oro's sentiment. I don't feel like I'm going to contribute enough to warrant access to his stash of Awesome.

ah c'mon guys!
if you are on the project, you are part of it.
Cosmetics or not, the more time I have from here to the release to perfection all the other elements, the better the project is going to be= then you are not just cosmetics, you are making the whole project go better

head over to onyx, I've been uploading stuff for years, so you'll get acquainted with the progress and structure of the plug easier.

I've registered too now, conceding to Carlinho's 'team-building' efforts
