I'm rather surprised that a new Myth-esque game hasn't sprung up out of this situation yet.
Hell, George Lucas wound up making the first Star Wars film because a Flash Gordon remake wasn't feasible for him. Now people rip off Star Wars because they can't make an official Star Wars film. Myth shouldn't be any different, I feel. Someday, someone will make a low budget pastiché imitation of it (but hopefully a good one with loads of new ideas) and the whole messy cycle will start again.

the months and months ago conversation when
I said to ren that calling it myth 4 was a bad idea
if maybe now wise healing thoughts prevail and
we all get a chance to get behind this

really calling it myth four does more potential harm than good
so why do it ? we all know as carlino pointed out
egos have been the down fall in myth at times pmnet
etc....
