Can TFL be installed on Windows XP Pro? I seem to recall reading something in the Dark Ages that said this was not possible.

Any idea what would cause a memory/swap file error?

It's not me having the problem, btw.

If the machine has > 1gb of RAM then TFL 1.3 won't run on it.

Its one of the things that'll be addressed when we (finally) get TFL 1.5 done & released

Yo Padre or Thork, a 2 cents that is worth a try:

There are two options that XP provides backward compatiblity (Msconfig and the file's exectuable properties - compatability mode):

1. Msconfig.
Start | Run |MSconfig
Click on Boot.ini tab > Click Advanced options button > Select /MaxMem= (Lower the Ram value below one gig)

2. Right Click the .exe file and select "Properties"
Click "Compatability tab" > then Click "Compatability mode"

Best wishes,
Rub

He apparently can run TFL using the 1.4 version, so I told him to play the solo levels and hopefully 1.5 will work when it's ready.

I'll give him Rubba's info as well, to see if that helps.
