All M2 maps in one folder

Post by Dagda »

My computer broke so I need to dl all the maps all over again. Is there any place where I can download nearly all maps that are played in one folder instead of downloading them all one by one?

It would be sweet if the Tain would work out some sort of management system where you could create and save a list of plugs.

This list would provide direct download links and then you could just use a download manager to download them all at once.

Since The Tain doesn't provide that though..

http://mythgaming.net/maps/ is a good start.

Another large list is http://www.orderofhpak.com/BattlePlan.php

Thanks, man. I knew about the second list but I couldn't quite remember the name of the website. :P

can't see a dl site manager being all that eager to automate downloading several gigs of files. even with 'unlimited bandwidth' that is going to raise flags with a webhost or at least slow down the server if you have a bunch of those all-in-1 downloads running.

you can kind of do what you are asking via a hotline client though you'd have to doubleclick each map file - but at least you'd have a single list. of course you could do the same thing if you point your browser at hl.udogs.net - you'd only have to singleclick a file to start a download.

Your input is very convincing to not go through with it and so your input is unwelcome. ;p

I am not against this feature being added to the Tain - but it's not something I would implement personally - since I have other more important projects on my plate.

well, i did tell you how you could get a list of all the files and download them one click per map. of course you'd have to expend a little more effort than just clicking your mouse once, but i am sure you would agree that each map is worth the time it takes to click the mouse once.

Um that's exactly what I was suggesting when I said ... "you could do the same thing if you point your browser at hl.udogs.net - you'd only have to singleclick a file to start a download."

My links were more specific, nothing wrong with what you said.

maps.orderofhpak.com or bp.orderofhpak.com also work. :)

Another handy one is links.orderofhpak.com for Mything Links.
