Assuming you are using Windows, you might be able to determine the port by using one of Mark Russinovich's Sysinternals tools to log or dynamically view port activity.

TCPView seems to show port usage:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint ... ds/tcpview

Process Monitor may also be useful:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint ... ds/procmon

It's odd that there does not seem to be any discussion about the port used in the Myth III manual or in the update readme(s).

Yeah I've tried looking through all the documents and could barely even find a mention of tcp/ip. Patch notes only mention it existing.

I was suggested to try asking blades on Twitter but have no idea how to find him.

I tried using netstat to find out what port was listed there and saw 5347 or something similar I forget but that didn't seem to work.

I'll try using one of those apps next time and see if it works

I set my computer for DMZ (which allows all traffic?) And myth 2 hosting/tcp-ip worked fine but myth 3 always failed. I'm not sure if tcp/ip even works on myth 3

You also want to make sure you are using the latest update:
