How would someone go about making a custom interface for Myth II? Is it difficult to the point that my little mind simply wouldn't be able to do it, or is it pretty simple?

The answer to your question: how good are you with Photoshop?

I guess you would like a B&G themed interface.

Excellent guess. I personally don't know anything about Photoshop but my cousin (he goes by Asoka on the PlayMyth forums... you may remember him) is extremely proficient at it.

Anyway, how would one go about making a new interface?

Do you mean like the Interfaces plugins available at http://thetain.net ?

Get Topaz and Tahoe (or whatever they're using now) if you haven't already.

As far as I can tell, thetain.net only has newer builds of Myth II.

Specifically, I mean something like this or this.

I wanna make a B&G interface.

All images seen in the interface(s) are saved as collections. You cannot regularly see these in Fear, but if you hold shift (I believe) when you start Fear you will see several locked folders, among them is (collections). From there you can save out the collection you wish to modify and open it using Tahoe. In Tahoe you can import or export files. Simply create your file in photoshop and import it into the collection.

VanBuren, I am sure by now you have seen it, but in case you haven't there is a reply to your similar post over on the playmyth forum that explains the basics of what you need to do to create a custom interface.

I suggest you read that and then if you more detailed questions ask away.

I saw it. Thanks.

It doesn't matter too much anyway, guys. I just wanted to see if it was a difficult endeavor or not.

Doesn't B and G already do a lot of custom interface stuff? (I seem to recall aa flag behind the Unit trading screen and other similar changes)
