Behind the Library v2

During MWC 2026, a bug was found where one of the teams on the 2 team mesh could not control their Dwarven Mortars. I (Jon God) was asked to fix this.

I didn't stop there, I detail textured the map, fixed an issue with one of the building textures not lining up with the ones next to it, and added detail collections for the remaining collections not covered.

:::: How to Use

Put the plugin called “Behind the Library v1.0” into your “Plugins” folder in your MythII directory. Start MythII and click “New Game” to get access to the solo level or go straight to Multiplayer and host a game. “Stairs of Covenant” & “Behind the Library” will appear in the list of multiplayer maps. Or you can either play cooperative.

"Escape from Covenant" is the solo mesh. It should appear right above Willow Creek.


:::: Story for Solo Mesh.

The following is an excerpt:

“I fingered the hilt of my sword nervously, growing ever more certain of the hopelessness of our situation. It hadn't rained in seventeen days. The wells were poisoned - a hermit seeking refuge from the outside claimed to have seen at least a dozen wights being herded into the Tiber several miles upstream. The armies of the Dark surrounded the city for miles in every direction. With each passing moment, the fate of Covenant grew dimmer...”

The level has new pregame and postgame artwork and comes up with a short story on what happened so far. Sounds like fun, eh? Play to read the full story.

The story may seem reminiscent of the Coming of the Dark levels oh so long ago. It is based on events from the Great War.
