OmniPatch allows a mapmaker to create a patch between an old and a newer version of his or her plugin.

Users can then apply the patch to the previous version of the plugin, to generate the new version.

(OmniPatch is not limited to plugin files, and can be used to make patches between any two files.)

OmniPatch for Windows includes the functionality for creating and applying patches in a single application.

OmniPatch files have the file extension 'omp'.
