MariusNet account troubles

I've had no problem getting an account for MariusNet (not that I use it because of time difference issues meaning I can't get any games) but a number of my friends have been refused accounts, or been told to go to PlayMyth.net instead. Any idea why these problems happen? My friends were just a little worried about all the tension on PlayMyth.net and want our accountson MariusNet ready incase things go horribly wrong.

you can always just use guest accounts on Mnet if need be. Login and password both as 'guest' and you get a freebie account, no email registry required. Of course your stats wont be logged etc, but if you just wana play.... nuff said.

If I play with friends on MariusNet, so few will play that ranked won't be worth having.

I thought they took out the guest thing tho?

in case things go horribly wrong?!? not a clue what you're talking about. glad to see you have the intestinal fortitude to see things through the good and the bad. I don't recommend marriage for you.

The tensions on PlayMyth.net (annoying h00rs, no reg in ranked, too much hostility) as well as my plumetting reputation on the server meant that if I'm driven away (not officially, just not made welcome by the actual users of the server) I wouldn't mind somewhere to go. I know a number of players have been getting annoyed at what's happening, some quit ranked, others went to Marius. Some just stopped.

I have uttermost faith in the Myth community, the PMA and everyone who runs PlayMyth.net I'm just a fan of backup precautions in case the impossible happens. I'd take a wolly coat to Jamaica, just in cace.

Me married? Sad as it is, I don't think it's happening anytime soon.

I haven't posted on the MariusNet forums but might. I checked here first because MariusNet officials didn't actually give a useful response to the people I know who signed up for accounts and were all just told "go to PlayMyth". Also, people here know me a little, MariusNet doesn't.
