Bit Maps

Post by Myrkridia Slayer »

How do I make bitmaps? Do I need photoshop, or are there other programs that I could use or that I need?

any program that will index them to 240 or 256 colors

graphic converter or photoshop are the standards people use... you could also render in 256 colors bmp files and simply import those if they all have the same color table...
if one does not learn from the failings of the past they are likely to suffer its return.

Photoshop is the best if you want to make something really good in my opinion.

If you read through one of the colormapping tutorials it will describe how to convert an image to the proper#of colors bitmap.
