Ok, one more question. I have struggled with this one for hours and hours and I cannot figure it out.
I have several maps for my campaign good to go, but as of right now, they are all independent. I know how to link them, but without a storyline, the maps will lose all their mystique. I figured out how to create a Text tag for each level and write the narration i wanted. I created a nar 01, nar 02, etc for each level to put in for the narration sound (silence). But creating the collections for pregame/postgame? No idea. I tried applying the willow creek collection to my pregame, and it worked (although the map in the background obviously had nothing to do with my campaign), and my text began scrolling by. I would've been happy except that as soon as the last word of my text JUST reached the screen, it went into the level. In other words, there is no WAY you could read the whole thing in time.
So my question is this: How do i make pregame/postgame screens for my levels so that the storyline actually connects, and i get that nifty kill count and hero's section with the drums and the "I am god" feeling at the end of each level?

Re: Pregame/Postgame Help
Go back in Fear and at the end of the narration press enter many times. This will give you empty space for the game to load giving you enough time to read the whole thing.Fildred wrote:I would've been happy except that as soon as the last word of my text JUST reached the screen, it went into the level. The pregame/postgame stuff are collections. If you have the images you can make new collections using Amber (a Mac program but can be used in PC and MacOSX using another program). Or let us say you are on a PC, you can use Tahoe to replace the images of an existing pregame/postgame with your own images and save the new collection to use it.Fildred wrote:How do i make pregame/postgame screens for my levels so that the storyline actually connects, and i get that nifty kill count and hero's section with the drums and the "I am god" feeling at the end of each level?
Thanks the first idea worked great, but thats just to hold me over until i can make my own using jade or tahoe (as i AM runnin on a PC)
Does anyone have any idea where i can download either of these tools? I see them referenced all over the place but actually finding it to download is a whole different story.

Some or all of those you need to find are probably in this place:

And eventhough you are on a PC there is a way you can use Amber.
If you are running Windows XP (I think 2000 as well), you can use SheepShaver. SheepShaver is a program that emulates classic Mac OS. If you wish to know more of it PM me.
