Does the "Make map work in demo" button work? If not, why not? Seems like one less hurdle we could give people if they could play some third party stuff.
Secondly, I was cleaning up some tags in a map using Chaos and these show up as unused.
phys (coef) confusion effect
lpgr (coef) confusion effect
soun (muls) music loss screen
soun (muws) music win screen
I can understand the sounds, they don't load with the mesh, so they aren't in preloaded data (where do you change that anyway? is the only way to overwrite them?)
My question is about the confusion effects. If confusion isn't in my local, i get a missing tag warning in the myth log (map loads fine though). But If they are in my local they don't get preloaded. That doesn't really make sense to me. Just wondering if anyone could clarify.
Thanks

My guess is because its a myth effect. The confusion effect attacks are not directly linked to the Local Physics or to the LPGR, the only thing linking it is the check box marked "can cause confusion" so that may show up in that program as not being used... I would think that other myth effects would do the same like the stun effect but i guess not.
Road's correct, the confusion, paralysis, tain teleport in, world knot teleport in and a few other effects are all hard-coded I think, so they don't require the pre-load information.
As for changing the sounds, most of them should have projectile groups somewhere which include the local projectile group effects, you should be able to change the sounds from there without over-writing the original sounds.
