Map Edge Devoid?

Post by Buck Mild »

There is a chunk of my map that is at elevation -22.00. However, when I get the map that low a bunch of things start looking staticky. (that repeating thing that happens when you don't set mesh parameters.)

My map benefits greatly from having a -22 elevation at this portion of the map. Can anything be done to fix this??

Depends. What do you need -22 elevation for that area? There might be a way to make it look better, but depends how you plan to use it.

displacement range on inserting the displacement map seems to get buggy on the top of the screen if you exceed say 15 units -5 -15 0 -12 seems ok

after the import of the displacement if you then lower it manually seems the buggy render dsitortion errors when moving can be avoided anyway seems to be a trial and error kind of thing though a range all the way to -22 might simply give you problems no matter how you did it just based on the render engine in myth...

good luck..
