Post by hmp »

Ok so when I have the model placed in loathing it looks fine:

Then when playing myth it looks like this:

Anyone know what the problem could be?

despite 'looking' alright in loathing, the bridge is in reality placed like it shows up in game. What you've gotta do, is in Loathing, select individual vertices and 'set mesh height' on each one to match the value of whatever height is next to it. If you select a vertex, then shift click and select another (say one where you want the height to be at) Loathing 'remembers' the last value you selected. So if you click the lower one that you're trying to raise, then click one right next to it at the proper height, then go Mesh---> Set Mesh Height, it'll have remembered the height of the raised vertex and raise the other to that height.

Hope that's not super confusing, it works. I've had this exact same problem with that exact same bridge, and i've fixed it.

If none of that works, try editing the reflection map to be a world unit wider on either side.

Come to think of it, that might've been the fix. Perhaps ignore the post above and try editing your Rmap first.

Ok I got it to work, I had to match the media heights to the mesh cell heights on the bridge. Thanks.
