Myth II Perfect Autohost

Hi everyone, I've recently created an autohost server(mauriusnet)
Open 24/7 for all to play. Called The Anvil of Culyweh. Now I'm no expert at Myth so I don't know the maps and game types everyone plays. The reason I'm saying this is because I have observed many complaints about the current list that it cycles through. Since this is to be a community server I'm looking for suggestions/comments on how I can make this a server more people will play, instead of just sitting around in the Lobby

I don't think there is a perfect list of maps and settings that will do the trick. It might just be the perception people have over autohost. They obviously prefer a host that can alter the map and settings when needed and for that reason alone some might not give autohosts a decent try. Maybe if autohost had a few more features it could boost its effectiveness in attracting more players. That won't be the case anytime soon though.

You could try asking this same question over at thegjol to see if any of them have any specific map preferences. In fact, if they can decide on a specific list of maps and settings, that could be saved in a file to be reused by other similar autohosts. The file gets stored in the preferences folder as "autohost". Also, if you set "Autosave Films (Multiplayer)" in your prefs, it can store every game they play on your autohost.
