Hi everyone, I just finished the fantastic 7th God plugin and wanted to see if anyone could clear up the story for me...

(Spoilers ahead)

1: Just to be perfectly clear; is Gorlan (narrator)destined to become the Goblin leader? (Hence the hints about being unable to see his own future, unable to "see" the leader in his dreams, the goblin disciple shouting his name as it dies and the repetition of the "gold is all you need" in the prologue up to the epilogue.

2: Is the "Gorlan" in the war the original Gorlan's apprentice; hence the inconsistancey of being able to see himself in the future, and the notes about the apprentice's looks & tradition of carrying names?

3: Why is the plugin called the Seventh God? Aside from the final Goblin citadel carrying the name, and the war being in his name (plus helping him either way it goes), he doesn't seem to be very important.

I don't think anyone in Magma had very much to do with the development of TSG -- maybe Ghost did, but I'm not sure.

Flying Flip would probably be a better source of information.

Ghost scripted one level, I believe. Silicon Dream did quite a bit for TSG, but good luck getting him to post here. :P

Edders, your first two conclusions are entirely correct. Don't know re why it was given that name though.
