Folks on Windows /w lag...would you run dxdiag, save the results to a .txt file, and then email them to cik@projectmagma.net (make sure you say what version of Windows you use, and what graphics card you have).

Also after you do this try installing Direct X 9.0b and post the results here.

1.5 is compiled using Direct X 8.0, most testing is done on Direct X 9.0b under XP.

I know its a long shot, but after tonights tests with 1.5 tags in place and using the 1.4.1 exe I experienced MASSIVE input lag.

Just wondering if mb its possible some of these folks ARE NOT replacing the MII.EXE file and just using the new patches ??

A long shot I know. :o(

There is a parallel thread over on Playmyth. I've talked to 'pbucher' over there in the 'in game lag' thread, is this the same person as iron and ironduke? I'm a little confused about that. :?:

To answer, in my case no I've definitely applied the first 1.5 beta cleanly and am getting input lag whereas on 1.4.x I was lag-free. I've added an entry to the bug-tracker about the issue.

Ironduke is also referred to as Iron, Fe.

pbucher is one of CIK's nicknames.

Actually OtA, iirc pbucher (Paul Bucher) is CIKs real name. ;o)

And Aye deckard, it was late, I just experienced my first case of input lag while running some tests for Fe, and I wasnt thinking too clearly. :o(

As Fe pointed out to me, we would be hearing reports of mass OOS issues if people were not replacing the MII.exe as well as the 1.5 update patches.
