I think what some are saying is that some artistic license is great, just don't go overboard. What was done for TWA is not the same thing as remaking a unit that happens to match the old look with added details. Those TWA units were just the same old ones rendered at higher resolution even though the models didn't have the detail to look good at high res. The blurriness let players' minds fill in the blanks.
At the end of the day, it all depends on Souly how much work he is willing to put into it and how similar he wants them to look like the originals. But he might be willing to tweak things if he gets the right feedback.

That model was just the M3 model. Thought you had rendered it. Not really interested in bringing that low poly thing to life.

Souly amazing work! You are making me feel great about Myth again!
Are these going to be incorporated into Myth II and replace the low rez versions of the troops? How long will it be? What about Myth I the fallen levels for Myth II?
Don't listen to much to the critics your doing a great job. One caveat: Soulblighter doesn't look very menacing. =)

I am making all the TFL, M2 and M3 units so it will be a Tag set you can use with the TFL maps, M2 maps and the M3 plug Revan is working on.
