I've used the dragon unit made by Hexographica once by testing it on the Willow Creek map. When it flew over low buildings such as the house ruins, it's Z height instantly increased until it was out of sight. Then when it got to other buildings which it was clearly above (ex. small townhouses), it could not fly over them, but instead only went around them. Is this fixable?
Another thing I would like to know is if anyone's ever been able to make it so a unit slows down as it climbs and speed up as it descends?

the flying units jumping against models problem has been fixed in the updates to myth, but speed is still constant in the xy-plane. there's no way to differentiate between going up a slope or down it or across it.

[heya lank - congrats on finishing your exams! ]
The problem with not going over things like houses should go away with checking either "Walking Impassable" (try this first) and/or "Flying Impassable" in Terrain Params of the monster tag. Most models and things like trees mark the terrain "impassable" - so checking at least "Walking Impassable" should let you go over them.
I've built a plugin for a flying unit and encountered much of the same problems, but yeah - as lank said - there's no way to determine if a unit is going up or down a hill to slow it down or speed it up in the way you want.
