Ok, I don't quite understand it all but heres some of what ive learned about gatling gun.
No matter what I do I cant get ammo to be refilled unless the unit is completely out. He cant have 24 bullets left, hit T, reload and have 48 bullets. This could possible be fixed by having the unit drop the cannon, and everytime he picks it up he reloads it (kind of like ww2 HMG). One idea that may or may not be good would be if the player if monitoring the cannon closely, right when it hits 0 ammo he could hit T and reload a full clip, otherwise it would autoreload a half clip.
The biggest problem with the gatling attack is the positive repetitions that shoot bullets seem to screw up the whole thing. If you set the repetitions from 32 to 1, then the negative repetitions to get ammo work fine. I have no idea why this is happening. Unfortunatly, this screws up the animation sequence even more.
The last thing is that when you have both the ammo and the mana recharge at the same time, you will not be able to recieve ammo if you cannot hold the mana you are trying to get. So your soldier shoots his bullet, and if his mana is full he can't reload, rendering him useless. Again I have no idea why.
