If the computer runs TFL 1.2 it should also run TFL 1.3 which was the last version made by Bungie

I remember reading something about Bungie changing the gameplay difficulty but I didn't think it was as late as the 1.3 patch.

Yes, to enable vTFL you check the TFL gameplay box.

I still have to test patch 1.3 to verify that.
I recognize some changes in behaviour of the enemies if comparing Myth TFL and vTFL, but I see it as a new challenge (I played the native TFL-campaign at least ten times through and know every damn stone and every stinking ghoul
).
Another thing: If I remember correctly, playing in legendary-mode in earlier versions just made the enemies tougher, but there was always the same amount of undead.
As I tried crow's bridge in legendary under vTLF, I had a hell of a fight! There are lots of enemies forcing me to withdraw and reorganize my men all the time. I like that challenge. Are these changes part of your community-patches or were the already in one of the bungie-patches?
You've done a great job to revive TFL in Myth II!

I don't know about TFL, but in M2 only Timid and Simple modify the health of the enemies or maybe it modifies the health of the player units... you get the idea. The rest of the difficulties just add more units to Heroic and Legendary.
As for the The Fallen Levels, Magma ported it like TFL and only made changes if certain stuff wasn't working under M2. They also added changes to allow vTFL to work with it. For example, if you load "Pools of Iron" one difference you can notice is Alric's movement. Move Alric forward, now make him move somewhere behind himself so it makes him turn around. Alric will turn on the spot he is standing before continuing to walk to that spot. With vTFL (and in TFL as well) he walks in a curve path instead of turning on the spot he stands on.
As for changes from 1.2 through 1.5, I don't recall much about the exact changes so I wouldn't know.

Hi,
Eddaweaver, your guess was right: It's really patch 1.3 that changes gameplay and difficulty. Up to 1.2, the difficulty just influences the toughness of the enemies, 1.3 changes their numbers also.
Thanks for your help, gentlemen
