dude, with that tutorial you can do a unit in no time...
it's very difficult at the start, but once you do 1...it's a piece of cake...

the most difficult thing is having the patience to animate it/render it/ oak & fear it all...
lots of details details & details...

Carlinhos,

yes, my friend,

will be a good challenge, I also took me time to start a single player level, and still has plenty of adjustment ahead. now, I try unit creation for M2.

Juliocpaes,

I wasn't making fun of _you_. sometimes translations can be funny.

If I knew how to make units for myth, I would help you but I have never made new units.

Vinylrake,

No problem. I like that people correct me in the English language.
I found his didactic comment. I also think it's funny about my bad english.

Point // Carlinho,

I downloaded the link "fembarbarian.zip" with successfully, and I did the extraction, and created a folder "FemBarbarian" with all the files together.

I ask: where in the Poser places these files in the "runtime/libraries" ??

there are many, many many articles online that explain how and where to add new textures and objects to poser. i am sure the poser documentation explains this too.

have you read any poser documentation or are you trying to do this just by reading the myth unit how-to?

your on a newer version of poser than I am ... though on my mac poser the textures folder within in the runtime folder is where they should be placed...

Vinylrake,

Yes, there is much that to read, mainly "The Poser documentation", and searching for "articles online That explain how and where to add new textures and objects to poser."
When I saw the images extracted Fembarbarian.zip, I was eager.
but sure, I need to read much, and have patience.

Vinyl, you have be right.

same as Point, I'm on Poser 6, so maybe it's not the same, but as it's been always the same from poser 3...I guess the skeleton of poser programs stays the same...

What you got from Point I guess is a stand- alone unit
that means that it has all the files altogether in 1 folder

usually when you get poser units or elements, you get several folders:

Poser> runtime:

> Libraries
>props
>lighting
>poses
>geometries
>>> etc etc
>textures

so the textures, are not within the libraries folder, but under runtime...
all the rest of the files goes towards libraries...
by what you posted above though...it seems it's a standalone unit, where if you have all the files within 1 folder on your desktop or hard drive or anything...if you click on the file BARBARIAN FEMALE, it would automatically open the unit on the poser window...associating all files instantaneously.

Hope this helps

cheers
