In D-Day plugin not every map crashes the game. It is for example possible to play MONTEBOURG map. The logs of errors look like the one above so I won't repost them.

Finally got around to trying this out on my ubuntu virtual machine. Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce the issue on either WINE or the native build
The WINE build seemed to have other issues though, like the window would sometimes not even show up unless I have the multithreading option disabled (which there is actually no way to do except from inside the game). So I would definitely recommend the native build in general.

We posted an updated Linux installer that should correct the issue with Linux Build 424. (The new build is 427 and includes a couple of other fixes.)
