Oh, I don't doubt it is the same guy. I'm just imagining what a hard time it would be to work with him after playing this Game for 8 years.

Heh. Well this can only mean good things for Horus... if the TFV folks can convince Mr. Charlton-Perrin that TFV is a tourism bonus for Chicago, he'll have no choice but to drag himself out of retirement! From er, voice acting. Whatever.

Hey while we're on the subject of old BUNGiE chums...
Did Bob Swan actually record 'voices' for the Trow? In the small Making-Of video you see him in the studio credited as "Journeyman" and "Trow, and Jason Jones is explaining to him what a kickarse a Trow is.
It just doesn't seem to make sense that he'd give such detailed direction if his only lines were 'OOF' and 'OOF' (Trow kicking sounds).
Just curious, back to your thread.

I'm quite positive it would be the same guy also, seeing as Bungie DID start up in Chicago, and stayed there until they were bought out in 2000 by Microshit. (Please note that they DID start a seperate office called Bungie West or something of the like, in California. It was that team that developed Oni.

You don't have a single right to speak about TFV Elfoid.
Was just a little joke
Ever since you joined the testers and did squat all, and made excuses why you couldn't test.
I've got more problems than you know about, and I've told you a few. Don't blame me for anything like that.
And stop going around telling everybody that TFV was just dropped.
I've not said its been dropped to anyone :O
Sorry to offend anyway man, I respect the fact you've got further down the chain of making a quality plug than I ever could, and that your trying to do something for the community - I'm at fault.

Geoffrey Charlton-Perrin can be heard in the new Destiny gameplay trailer at the end as a character wearing a masked helmet sort of thing. Over the last couple days, I've been searching for other voice work that guy has done cause I thought his voice was perfect for that type of role. I'm wondering if that Facebook/Linkedin profile is the same guy or not, too.
Anybody know who did the voice work for "Casualty" and "Casualties!" in Myth 2? I always thought the voice sounded similar to the guy who voiced Halo's multiplayer mode, but I'm not sure.

Nice catch on that Destiny trailer

As for the announcer, IIRC, it's the same person that voiced Commander Griffin in Oni, Keys in Halo, and the Warriors in Myth.

Just to add more confusion, in an interview with Magma's own "composer-in-residence" (Grasshopper), Marty O'Donnell (the composer of the Myth soundtrack) and whose father was the voice of the Dwarves in Myth, does confirm that Geoffrey Charlton-Perrin was the narrator for Myth.

BUT, this behind the scenes video of the voice actors recording their parts for Myth TFL shows someone else doing the warrior's voices.

and for more useless trivia - a few Myth-era people did voice work on Halo as well.
Brian Morden said the line "The Autumn - she's been hit!" [otherwise known as *Ar-Isildur of *WP*]
Marty O'Donnell : Jackals, Hunters, and all things flood
