And mb there's no need to even place all those spears/swords. You could place a few projectiles (or monsters) that detonate immediately, initiating projectile groups that create the multitude of weapons :).

That is another exceptional trick.

Ah! LOOK out! Its the dreaded Armory!

I guess if you accelerated 600 swords it could be
pretty dreaded.

hehe, well, both those tricks have worked since 1.3.

No I tell a lie ... since TFL 1.0 :)

Wow, thanks for the compliment.
Well to be fair it was really Godz, but you got the ball rolling. Hats off!

As cool as those tips are Iron, without the mons "Starts with Artifact" that acts just like they picked one up, my non-map (hence non-scripting) plugins that need this won't be possible...

very true. I wasn't suggesting the above as a reason not to make that enhancement, but rather to help carlinho do it less painlessly with the current update.

Actually, I love being proved wrong. I refute everything I wrote in this thread!
Cid just showed me that team-killing (via option-shift click) doesn't work anymore. I'm sticking with 1.5.1.

GG!

Interestingly put, ozone - but one man's "bug" is another man's "artistic decision". They probably thought that melee team-killing was too easy for troublemakers like me, so they off'd it.
A great shame, but I've no choice but to stick with 1.5.1 for now. (How else am I supposed to discipline idiot co-op players in vTFL???)

Heh.

no...I dont think this would have been changed on purpose..I could be wrong but I dont think so.

Hmmm..can you give some guidance as how to replicate?

Is this on a mac or PC..both?

What build did it stop working on?

This only work with mellee units or missle units with mellee attacks as well?

Were you wearing pants?

Yes please tell us what build and anything else you can about it. Also time is running short for additional fixes and such.

Also to put things straight. There are NO planned updates beyond 1.5.2. This thread was about floating an idea and that's all and has of right now there is NO plan to do anything more then maintain 1.5.2 thru OS upgrades and such.

Finally the period for feature requests for 1.5.2 is very much closed, unless you have a really good one that makes us want to add it.

The vTFL teammate-attack bug is already known, and was a result of a fix made in build 270. It has already been corrected in our code, and build 273 should have the fix, when that build will be made available.

EDIT: Also, keep in mind that 1.5.2 Beta is just that... BETA - which means that a) it is not representative of how the final will be (ie, bugs found in it will be fixed by the time it is final) and b) if you do see bugs:

REPORT THE BUGS!

I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH! TELL US ABOUT ANY BUGS YOU SEE, DO NOT HIDE THEM AWAY IN THE CELLAR AT THE BOTTOM OF A LOCKED FILING CABINET THAT IS STUCK IN A DISUSED LAVATORY WITH A SIGN ON THE DOOR SAYING "BEWARE OF THE LEOPARD".
