Now that would be news!

Wow, think of it: with cooperating teams, we could even blast the ball from pond to pond, completely circumnavigating the waterways of Chest with the ball via wightblasts.

This would be at least as newsworthy as a trip to Edmonton to visit a mall! (the current News Page item) Wth? Do they even have wights there?

I despise malls. Let's take a hike through the redwoods instead.

...and they just keep coming... that's the scariest thing about the pending zombie apocalypse... Zombies just never stop, no matter how many of them you kill there are always more. Eventually you'll run out of bullets or food or new places to hide.

Yes thats the distirbing thing about zombie games, they keep track of your total kills, and after what seems like killing 10000 billion zombies you realize its only been less then 50,000

Phoenix alone has like 2.5 million in it.

Let's load 'em up and send them down into the sun. I'd like to see 'em keep coming after that!

the worst thing about the coming Zombie Alpacalypso is that stupid Day-O song they mumble as they chase you.

ps. Avatar is not a zombie.

I have always been convinced that when the zombies come that I need to have a zombie plan. So i made 3

1. I go and hide in a gander mountain sporting goods store (or a walmart)
2. I drive myself to alaska to live as a hermit (the cold tempetures will turn the zombies into icesicles since zombies have no body heat)
3. I go and live on a ship like a cruise liner someplace (zombies cant swim) and pick up survivors along the way so that in the end we can KILL those misserable poor undead by the bushel. We will rip out there undead guts and use them to grease the treads of our tanks

Interesting suggestions.

1. For a short time (while planning escape and accumulating supplies) a defendable store/mall with food and supplies is a great idea, but Dawn of the Dead showed the pitfalls of planning any extended length stay in one. Zombies are apparently attracted to either human scent or to other zombie activity so unless you can stay completely undetected, the longer you stay the harder it's going to be to get out of your store/mall when you do leave - and eventually you will have to when you run out of food/bullets.

2. Alaska would be a decent location to be in if you have the requisite survival skills - which you would need as power grids and the like would quickly break down if they weren't already by the time you got there. The risk in this plan is that depending on how far away from Alaska you are when the ZA occurs you could have one mega long and dangerous road trip ahead of you - one which you would be unlikely to survive. Secondly I can't recall any evidence to support your theory that zombies would be unable to bear the cold of Alaska. If their blood isn't flowing, what's to slow down or freeze?

3. The cruise ship idea is a good one except for the size of the crew and # of skilled maintenance people you would need to operate a vessel of that size. (and fuel would be an issue soon). Any large vessel is going to be visible quite a ways off so it would be hard to sneak into a port for food or fuel. A yacht / flotilla of smaller vessels would probably be more practical, though would be more difficult to manage.

I think the _safest_ option would be to find an island close enough to a continental coast where you would get the weather benefits of being near a large land mass, and large enough to support whatever survivors you've managed to accumulate (with enough fresh water, good soil, etc) and settle down there. Since Zombies can't swim (except for certain nazi zombies) and the odds of a zombie infested cruiseliner running aground on your island are relatively slim, you would only have a finite number of zombies to deal with. Once any zombies on the island were destroyed you could settle down to a fairly 'normal' agrarian life - although of course the community would have to be vigilant about any approaching boats and people dying and turning..

I have seen dawn of the dead and I thought it wasnt accurate they should have left the gun store operator to fend for himself (gun store DUH) and there were WAY to many people you need a small number like 3-4 not 9-10 even though it didnt help them in the end I also feel that living on an ocean liner would be safe you could get dirt and grow crops on the ship also the fuel consumption would be null and void since (in my opinion) you could let it drift about so long as i didnt hit any landmasses also since zombie blood does "flow" that alone explains how they bleed and when hypothermia sets in it kills and blood going tot here brain and as we all kkow without the head the body will die so that is my zombie plan
