Don't worry, the only reason Wazza felt like mentioning what he did was because kingthrall said the following:
kingthrall wrote:Wazza zoomed in and helped us a lot i will admit but he didnt save the day
Wazza isn't seeking more credit, just wanted to be sure he wasn't getting discredited.
josh wrote:...it also seems many of you don't like me too much... I think most of this hate was generated and propagated by Renwood, who was justly a mutual enemy of mine...
I searched for "liger" in these forums and there were only a few posts that are insults towards you that were out of the blue and made by non-magma members. However, the rest were either related to this topic or in reference to this post quoting you.

Not everyone who posts in these forums is part of Project Magma. There is an About page in case you ever wonder who is or who isn't part of Magma. Besides, it isn't as if everybody here got along with Renwood. So even if he or anyone else were to generate hate towards you or others, doesn't mean anyone else would follow (let alone magma members).

Sometime ago GKG came here and kept lumping everyone in these forums as part of magma. Most of the people that talked to GKG in that thread are not in magma. The thread was removed since GKG didn't need help anymore and he was just insulting others eventhough he claimed he "didn't care". He even said he was getting PMed by magma members when that was actually incorrect. Whoever they might have been, they are not in magma.

lolwut. how did rens name even get mentioned?

no offense josh (whoever you are) but i dont think ren even knows or cares about anything going on with you - either now or in the last 6 months.

also, who are you? i dont know you by just your first name

@ooga : pyro mentioned this

@pyro : That was taken out of context out of list from a 100 fixes PM should do to better the game (unless it was another post i made about your updates; I made many, still truncated nonetheless) and I think someone responded from the PM forums (not lumping PM together like you asked here).

That post of which I think you were referring to had a lot of pro's and cons (along with my others anyways) and also involved my persona which is not only something that takes years for people to truly acquire but is something I have adjusted from over the ages (when I made that post I was probably still in college or something and was an incredibly, incredibly competitive myther with a lot of nerve and a lot to prove on the game).

I think if the post where I gave you 'mad props' on 1.7.1 was ever resurface, I think the PM and co team would have a different view but that is neither here nor there, and for those of you who do know my persona, know that I really don't give a 'flying flute' what others may think of me :)

liger, eh? in that case you dont have to worry - ren is not the type of person to care enough to spread insults behind your back - if he had something to say he'd rather say it to your face. Besides - this isnt exactly a receptive audience for him. :P I dont think he'd be able to convince anybody here to hate you, so it might be a pre-existing condition with whoever youre talking about.

anywho gug luck at teh bridge, hope this mwc thing gets sorted out

I think after consideration I'll definitely try pushing a mappack for a fall tourney. Rather get it done right instead of quick ;)

I don't think the quote was taken out of context, since in it you state Magma should not have messed with left click behavior. However, Magma did not mess with the left click behavior. So you were, at least for that portion of the quote, insulting magma for something that was not even true.

There have been other times when other players blame certain behaviors or issues on magma when in fact they are old bungie issues. If Magma is ever the cause of a bug, it surely was unintended and could be fixed if reported. This is also true for old bungie bugs. Some of those still get found even now.

The problem with random people accusing magma of purposely creating changes they did not create is that it spreads a negative image on magma and future updates. I'm not saying this is what you are doing now, because we know you aren't doing that. Just explaining why you might have thought some people here at one point in time might have implied certain things about you.

Even now, there are players out there that still think magma changed things that have "ruined" the game. However they are misinformed. The 1.7.1 (just as earlier updates) still use the same bungie 1.3 gameplay minus the OOS issues, crashes, and other bugs the 1.3 gameplay had. Recall how targetting your own berserk myrks could sometimes cause your healthy myrks to attack themselves? Well that was an old bug that was finally fixed for 1.7.1.

No MWC2k10 this year? Just as I was going to make my triumphant return to the game... Not like anybody remembers Pacu, except the silly Np who taught me nonsense finnish phrases.

The site has issues or something. I found this on the Mnet forums:
From Liger (since he can't post on these forums or something, and is also at work) & MWC2010 Staff :

The people that host the server (skysoftwebs) is receving bandwith overflows (or at least its exceeding limits or something along can't happen lines) due to certain errors in scripting, this has happened on multiple occasions so the server has suspended the account until the problem is fixed. The website will need to go under maintenance by whoever can fix these script errors to prevent whatever is going on from happening.

The server may be moved onto one of liger's client servers if the problem can not be fixed for a long time.

By the way 1v1 tournament participants, you can post your results here for your 1v1 brackets: http://www.nmo2010.webs.com/ (on the forums).

Expect to hear more about this from liger later.

Sincerly,
Rumor Control
EDIT: Err... I guess they fixed the issue. The MWC site is back up.
