Can´t Project Magma extend the existing fear to be able to import and edit collections? Since they have the source code is much easier to code such tool, and it will be much better than our ´hacks´. In case not, if in a remote possibility they release the file format of collections (for us to code an editor), would it be a violation of the agreement with bungie? Personaly I think a file format is not part of the source code of a program. Well, just asking :)

It's an okay idea, but I don't see it happening (for the effort it would take). Amber does the job fine.

Industry is working on a cross-platform Amber, give him some money and it might help him spend more time on it :)

Another cool feature would be to import geometry. PC users like me can´t make much in myth.
But if someday the old macs stop working? I´ve read somewhere amber isn´t compat with osx, and now macs will have pc archtecture.
