How do you get the Pregame map from Myth 2, but without any red lines so I can edit it for my own plugin.

You might be like me and prefer the Myth map the way it was coloured in TFL.
Forgive my poor Photoshop job, but on the plus side it only took me 7 minutes and 38 seconds!

Heh. You got rid of the volcano smoke in your 7 minute photoshop job, too?

Ack! I have a new problem! Is there a Mac OS X Tool that allows you to create preegame pics? Also I intend to use pictures from TFL and SB. Can anyone help?

Also, I've assigned stuff to my mesh (pregame map etc) but it won't play them!!!

Actually Myrd the Volcano smoke doesn't appear on the TFL map until it actually goes off around the Shadow of the Mountain level. :p

I seem to have got it to work, except text is blurry, pictures dissapear into various lines. And the general quality of the pregame pics are very bad. how can I get 16 bit bmps into Amber?

by Graydon
you cant.
16bit only applies in amber to images that have an 8 bit alpha map on top of the bitmap.

So, how do I extract Myth 2 Pregame Pics for use with my own Plugin a) without Crapping up other bitmaps in the collection and b) Maintaining High Quality Ingame?

You need to extract the journal art you want and the text colour code, then index them along with your new backround image in order to prevent fuxoring...

Gee... with that attitude, people are not going to help. While 4 hours seems a long time... there are chances people won't be on for even more hours. I advice just be patient. Sometimes people just don't really know what you need help on, so they wait until someone else asks or answers or just plain replies to your question. So... did you get it working yet?
