I still get only pixelated graphics (software rendering) even if I select OpenGL.

I have a 2001 QS Dual 1 GHz, 1 GB RAM, OS X 10.3.3, nVidia GeForce Titanium 4600 and a 17" Cinema LCD.

Will this ever be resolved? Even though these 3rd party patches have brought the Myth series into OS X, I can't stand playing them in clunky software rendering only, so in effect, I don't.

HELP!

Augster this game is 5 years old, it will have pixelated graphics, this isn't your top of the line game like Raven Shield. I think the graphics in Myth 2 are 8-bit or 256 colors. Or possibly 16-bit, not sure. Also, your video card's features won't affect Myth graphics at all(only faster fps), the best possible graphics in Myth for your 17"" screen is probably a 1024X768 resolution, OpenGL, High Resolution checked, and interface transperency. I hear that ProjectMagma may attempt to have a 32-bit option in the future for better graphics.

The current renderer is 16 bit, but OpenGL _is_ OpenGL and accelerated/smoothed. It may look a tad pixelly but its nowhere near as much as software mode. Yes, 32 bit is a lot nicer looking. Coming soon...
