Hello everyone!

I tried to host a game last night and it came up as firewalled. I am using Norton Interent Security. I added the program to the allowed programs list, but that didn't help. i then removed it and added it manually, and it told me that the program was pre-set-up for "firewall use" by Project Magma!

lerabu has an nstant of Joy!

But then when I selected that option, it didn't even want to connect to Playmyth, bugger...

There is an option where I can open up a specific port, is it 3459? I'll do it if that's the only way, but what bugs me a little is that it didn't use to do it with 1.3.x and 1.4.x

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks and keep up the good work!

Port 3453 is the one used to host games and the only one required to be opend through a firewall. What map be confusing Norton is the fact that the TCP/IP code is now located in the OpenPlay TCP/IP dll and not the main program. So it will see the dll actually trying to open the port vs the app.

It's OK Isorted it out, some clever ass (my uncle) firewalled the connection in the control Panels....

Cheers for the help!

Come get you blood spilled in one of my games! (Euh... It's an invitation!;) )
