I am working on a map. While I was trying diff units and stuff. I tried using Lock fire ring with 6 locks at a time. What happens is the flames all start then fade out then fade back in and fade out again. The total time the rings were lit with the fading in and out was still less than 1 locks fire ring. My fps were between 250-350 changing very fast before I used 6 Lock fire rings. When I used the 6 fire rings it only dropped to between 200-280. So I dont think it is my comp causing the prob. Could it be or is it a bug? Thanks

sam, this sounds like normal warlock behaviour :O

also, fps generally slows down when 6 warlocks firewall at once, or a whole bunch of flame arrows are burning, or you satchel a buttload of thrall, or whatever.

But Ducky why is it when only 1 warlock uses fire ring the ring burns steady, but when there are more locks the fire rings fade out then relight?

i think it's to do with the local projectile group for it. so many instances of it happening at once may cause it to push the engine limits for the number of lopg particles and such. i know for certain that it happened similarly in 1.3.
